Hi All,

We're relocating to Maui in May and we're looking for a rental house. Does anyone have any feedback on this subdivision, good or bad?

Thanks in advance,

Meg

P.S. We're familiar with South Maui and we know the location, it's more an issue of safety and suitability for a young child. Ta.

Many friends with children live there. Perfect spot for the kiddos to walk to school at Kamali‘i.

My company actually bid the wood framing and interior carpentry on those houses back in 2005. And, seeing as I live right in front of the project, it would have been great, but, went to someone from the mainland. We had a heck of a time with the house owners/renters back there walking through the parking lot and down the private drive at the Alii Kai in order to get a shortcut to the beach. After many requests to respect private property etc., we finally had to put up a fence to keep them out. They are nicely designed homes, but architecturally much more suited to the mainland than to Hawaii. Suspect some who bought before they were actually built are biting the bullet big time by now, of course they are not alone..

Aloha and,,,,,,
