Anyone know what is the name of the previous business(es) at the location which is now called Northshore Hostel? I'm trying to figure out where it is. [Decades ago, there were Hotel Riverview and Molina's in that area. Hotel Riverview is now Banana Bungalow.]

Molinas is further down towards Happy Valley on Market. The Bungalow is on Vineyard. Don't know the previous name, but if that place could talk, I'm sure it would have some stories to tell from the 40's. Happy Valley wasn't named that for nothing..

Banana Bungalow (FKA Hotel Riverview) is on Market Street, over the bridge in Happy Valley. Is the old Molina's rooms (it had outside open hallways) what is now Northshore Hostel on Vineyard? I cannot remember if Molina's was on Vineyard... but it was one scary place!!

Molinas is on Market, before Iao Stream runoff, heading towards Waihee. Not sure of the name of the ex-brothel on Vineyard, but the Vineyard Tavern was a dive of some notoriety back in the 70s and 80s, before Maui got over-civilized.. Happy Valley, ya gotta love it, Maui's wannabe Hotel Street back in the 40s.

Then the current Molina's must be before the bridge on Market St, and Banana Bungalow after the bridge on Market St? Banana Bungalow, when then ran as Hotel Riverview, had Sam Sato's next door. Those were the good days in Happy Valley!
The old Molina's was off of Market, if I recall correctly, maybe on Vineyard.

Molina's is now a King's barbque take out place, and its on Market, and Mill St. The Bannana Bungalow is down the hill across the bridge from Molinas, and is on the corner of Market and Kapoai pl?.
