Has anyone hiked this? I haven't been able to find out much info on this hike and would like some insight.

I've only ever gone out to the start of that trail. Start early, bring lots of water, a hat, sunglasses, and some good shoes. I hear its a fairly rough dehydrating hike.

Great hike, only did about a quarter mile of it, but I'm planning on doing the whole trail this summer. No good places to get into the Ocean unless your a surfer and a good one at that. Wear shoes not slippas and/or reef shoes it's mostly lava rock. You might see some goats on the trail, they seem to be used to humans and ignore you for the most part. This is my favorite part of the Island due to its remote location and lack of loud rude tourists. If you pay close enough attention You'll see the outlines of old buildings and pathways. If you have a "camelback" backpack, take it, as the only facilities are a couple of outhouses. One last piece of advice, be careful when driving out there its a one lane road with traffic traveling in both directions. Aloha
