Facts are facts. Majority of Native Hawaiians die before they get low enough on the list to get hawaiian homelands but of course you don't mention that. Further, with or without affermative action(most minorities don't get any real benefits from affermative action anyway)it really doesn't apply to the stats that still show consistently on the mainland and hawaii that the real poor areas or undesirable areas are populated by minorities not caucasians/whites. Yes its 2015 don't you think its time to get your head out of the sand and quit expecting special treatment for being caucasian/european/rich or have priority seating? I mean honesty your pull yourselves up by the bootstraps mentality coupled with the stats really makes you appear racist or at least ignorant of your class/race privilege because its assumes that anyone who is poor is lazy or lacks ambition my friend(your words) then that would mean that hard work and ambition is limited to race according to the stats? Is that what your saying?

I'd be happy to update mine but the time during which I can update a post has expired.

I have noticed you have 6000 posts with many appearing to occur during work hours. And that 6000 is on this forum alone. I certainly hope you are not spending half your day at work surfing the Internet, while working for someone else! That would be being a lazy moocher.

Do you have a source for your "fact"?

Although - I believe giving away land for free that wasn't their land to begin with provides a lack of incentives to make something of their life - lets not kid ourselves, Native Hawaiian are not "Native" - they are simply descendants of South Pacific Islanders who happened to stumble on Hawaii in a bunch of canoes.

lol. So do you think they need to have evolved from an amoeba on the islands to be "native"? How about the American Indian, do you want to tell us how they aren't really native because they "stumbled upon America from Asia"?

I think it is ridiculous in 2015 any group, American Indians included receive freebies - go to school or learn a trade like the rest of the people. I feel it is rather shameful to continue giveaways simply for being born a certain group.

So you're backing down from your absurd statement that native Hawaiians aren't really native and "happened to stumble over in canoes"? Would you care to elaborate on the "freebies" we give American Indians that it's shameful they receive?

I didn't think it was in dispute that "Native" Hawaiians were South Pacific Islanders that stumbled upon Hawaii in canoes.

Freebies for Indians - hmmm, exempt from state income taxes - casino payouts......we can start with that.
