Congratulations! I’m no local but here’s a few thing I did last week in Maui:

Go up to Napili bay resort and see a slack key concert by the Masters.

Try Jennifer’s Saigon City restaurant in Wailuku
A Saigon Cafe

Go over to Mamas Fish House in Paia

Take a ferry ride to The island of Lanai for a day trip. Go early, 9 am and return 2 pm. They say the water is calmer than the afternoon return trip

If you like to sew go to Fabric Mart in Kahalui. The sell it on the internet but it’s great to sort thru it yourself. 285 Dairy Rd; Kahului, Hawaii 96732

It's not November 2019 yet.

Typically low 80's - December puts you into the start of the rainy season. You may see no rain, a lot of rain - or something in between.

There should be some whales here by then. I never get tired of looking at whales. You can take a boat out but you can easily see them from the Pali (cliffs) near Maalaea or off of Ho'okipa on the north shore. Bring some binocs for better sighting.

With a little luck Peahi (Jaws) might go off. It's a total zoo when it does as the road down there is a mud pit but it is pretty impressive to see them surfing monster waves. Go early. Bring binocs.

Congratulations.

Get a place in Kihei or Lahaina.

How to choose? If you're younger, go to Kihei. If you're older, stay in Lahaina.
