Are there some good places to chill and see live music on Maui?

What were some of the venues prior to the virus?

Depends on where on the island you want to be at, most bars had some sort of live music. If you give us a general area of where you want to hang out at, or what type of music, it'd be easier to answer this question.

Maui doesn’t have a music ban. Kihei side: Maui Brewing currently has music a few nights a week. Ohana Seafood has a socially distant outdoor band. South Shore Tiki Lounge and What Ales You are pretty much running their normal routines. West side: Down the Hatch, Cool Cat, I think Dirty Monkey, and the Yacht Club have music. PS: Stay home and play your stereo. The beer is cheaper. I just bought a new sound system with all the money I’m saving.

Thanks for the great reply. True about staying home. It is WAY cheaper. I bought a margarita out the other day and it was $11.00. I can get a bottle of tequila for that price.
