We have a family tree service in Bellingham Wa.
We are 4th and 5th generation climbers and also love to surf.
We are considering starting a small tree service on Maui
Because Maui is very special to all of us. We don’t want to
Step on any toes and we are wondering if there is any shortage of tree
Experts on the Island, or is there already plenty. I guess the question
is, are you happy with the services offered already or would you be happy
to have more choice/expertise?
We would always hire at least one local and we try to be as ecologically
friendly as possible.
Thinking this may be a way to spend more time at “Home” in
Hawaii, before getting too old to surf and this idea came through.
We would do only part time gigs for
Return customers and may only be
Available every 8-10 weeks to start, as we keep or Washington
Business running.
We could hire a local that may like to come to our Bellingham location periodically to
Work.
Our favorite island is Maui but we truly love them all.
We are Russell, 50 years old, Ezra, 29, and my wife Marlene.
We’d love your feedback if you have any.

It isn't a matter of stepping on toes - plenty of tree service companies on all the islands - to break in you'd likely have to have aggressive pricing - advertise - and knock on doors - you'd have to hustle, just like starting any new business. You'd have to also build up your Yelp reviews.
