No details yet about the car as a whole, but it looks great to me - kind of like a smaller version of Jaguar's F Type. It is also nice to see at least one manufacturer is still making a truly fun small roadster for a good price.
I think I like it.
I owned an NC for a few years and had to sell it out of necessity.
This one might have a spot in my garage.
Will need more information though.
I'm digging the rear and side profile along with the interior but the front end (particularly in the front 3/4 view) is throwing me off a bit. It might take some time to grow on me.
The front is smiling at me. I just do not like smiling cars unless they are Herbie the love bug. (Worse yet, this smile has dimples in the brake duct scoops!)
This has been one of the most airtight-secretive campaigns leading to a new-car "reveal" in recent memory... far more so, than for the 2015 Mustang. Some enthusiasts were agog with anticipation and are fawning over the revealed product. Personally, while I am pleased by the aesthetics, I feel jerked around by the secrecy and hype. Now we wait an indeterminate period of time for the technical details.
The above notwithstanding, I applaud Mazda for keeping alive the light-weight RWD tradition. Too often, RWD is restricted to large and luxurious cars, with most even so-called "sporty" cars having to contend with FWD.
I'm not so sure about those headlights...thought it would have more of the Kodo design language than that. But yeah, I would love to see the coupe version and what it looks like...probably going to be amazing. Nice job overall.
