Thus allowing Sleepy, creepy, depends wearing Joe to waltz into a second term. Which he will need to get those $7 dollar gas prices and the 1930s style depression and the world war we've been promised by the right. I don't think he can get all that done in this term because he is so ineffective. But maybe with another term he can get it done.

Yes you are right, Obama's jokes in 2011 at the Washington Correspondents Dinner was what really fired up Trump and probably was a factor that helped trigger him to run. 2016 just added more fuel to the fire. This guy is so easy to manipulate.

It is just a matter of time before a nuke is used in war. Might be in a foreign conflict, might be a single terrorist attack on our soil, but it's naive to think that with thousands of nuclear weapons, and proliferation continuing, that these weapons will never be used. This does not mean that we cower in bunkers, but we can't pretend that the threat has somehow magically gone away.

All I can say is look at what actually happened. 4 years under Trump we did not get closer to nuclear war. Yet in 2022 under Biden we have gotten much closer.

Even telling a joke about Hitler was considered treachery. People in Nazi Germany could not say or write whatever they wanted.
Examples of censorship under the Nazis included:
Closing down or taking over anti-Nazi newspapers;
Controlling what news appeared in newspapers, on the radio, and in newsreels;
Banning and burning books that the Nazis categorized as un-German;
Controlling what soldiers wrote home during World War II.
None of which has anything to do with the Post lampooning Trump.
