Hi, I am moving to Memphis for work and I have been looking through the previous threads and could not locate one on downtown condo/apartment rentals. Would like to stay under a $1500 inclusive of utilities.

About me:
Single female
30"s
Professional

What I am looking for:
No interest in Harbor town complexes
Close to or in downtown core
Safe building with amenities (gym, secure entry, pool)
washer and dryer in apartments
no open industrial lofts
large windows, bright lights
2 large bedrooms and walk in closet(s)
outdoor living space

I have looked at online at River Tower, American Tower and plan to visit to view some condos next week. Please may you suggest some other buildings or provide links if possible. Thank you.

You'll probably want something on Main St. Specifically Main St. and Union Ave.

Do any apts downtown have a pool? (other than on the island?) South Bluff might, but that's at the south end of downtown, not in the core. The Shrine Bldg has a pool but those are condos now. However, maybe you can find one to rent in that buidling. It would fit your criteria perfectly.

Here's a 1BR/1BA for rent in the Shrine:

Is there an issue with South Bluff? I don't mind being close to downtown if its still a safe neighborhood. What is the address of the area around Main and Union so I know which apartments are in that area?

38103 is the zip code for that area.

Google apartments 38103 and you will get the list of apartments/condos around Main Street and Union Avenue and look south of I40.

I hope this helps.
