Hello Everyone,

We are relocating to the area in 3 weeks! A few questions for a newbie to the area. We are planning to stay in an extended stay hotel (near Campbell Clinic, zoned for Farmington Elem.).

A few questions...

1. Can anyone tell me about the home builder "Magnolia Homes". Is this a quality builder in the area (more custom like than a track home builder)?

2. Any opinions on the "Village Park" neighborhood, new development located in Collierville? The elementary school is Crosswinds and I'm trying to locate the major cross streets.

3. Is this area a more "desirable" area that will hold value over say the Germantown area????

4. Distance to Walnut Grove/Humphrys Blvd.???

Thank you in advance for this helpful advice. We are trying to work out school issues as soon as possible.

amy

My parents lived in a home on one of their first developments in Cordova, pre-annexation, and their quality is great. Definitely not a tract home builder.

I just sent you a PM, those houses are really nice, You'd be right near Johnson Park, which is Fantastic!! THere are not a lot of trees though, they took them all down, as they often do when they build a subdivision. It's a newer subdivision that has been sitting there for years, but all of a sudden seems to be booming.

Crosswind is a great school- Wonderful principal there, and loving teachers. Very involved parents.

I'm not familiar with the homes in that area. I have heard nice things though about the builder. As for distance to Humphreys Walnut Grove, it's a good 30 - 45 minutes.
