We ate at Aldo's Pizza Saturday night. It was awesome. We got the Memphis, which is of course BBQ and it actually has Tops BBQ sauce on it, with a big handful of cole slaw thrown in the middle. My favorite is still Trolley Stop as of right now, but Aldo's may creep into the lead. But great atmosphere and people. Lots of kids there too.

So what is your favorite pizza in town?

My top picks are:

Trolley Stop
Aldo's
Tie Broadway and Little Italy.

My favorites (in no particular order)...

Coletta's
Memphis Pizza Cafe
Broadway Pizza (probably more for atmosphere than food)

My absolute favorite is Ferraro's in the Pinch District. Ridiculously good NY style. I've taken many friends there who start moaning in ecstasy after their first bite.
Aldo's is great too. My favorite so far is Bring On The Gump. Watch out for the Willie, Cheech, and Bob. They are NOT joking when they say it's spicy--- the jalapenos are some of the hottest I've ever had. Still-- it's delish!

I really like the pizza at Lavoros at sycamore view and summer. Also like Little Italy on Union. We do like Trolly Stop and we enjoyed Russo's on Poplar at Forest Hill and we enjoyed Mellow Mushroom on Polar in G-town.

There was one on the menu people said we should have gotten, it had vodka sauce I believe. I'll have to check out the Willie, cheech, and Bob.

I know it's a chain, but I think Mellow Mushroom is the best I've had here so far. Thanks for the thread, I'm ready to try some new pizza!

I have had Aldo's several times since their opening. I think it's my favorite now. We have been getting the Mr. T Rex, YUM!! Bring on the Gump was also amazing!
Memphis Pizza Cafe is still good, it's just a different kind of pizza. I have had Broadway once. It was good, but I let my boyfriend decide what toppings to get, so I wasn't too thrilled with it.

Yea, Broadway is a different type of pizza too, but I know what you mean. Maybe it's the memories of sitting in there listening to ****** tonk and soul on the jukebox drinking crappy beer waiting on the my pizza.

And don't forget velvet Elvises!

(BTW, I laughed hysterically when I read your post and saw the '******' in '****** tonk' all asterisked out.)
