I have been with Comcast for close to two years now and off late because of online streaming I end up downloading a lot of data. I currently pay $35 a month for internet only.
Yesterday I got a letter in mail from comcast stating my download limit will be 300GB a month and if it is exceeded I will have to pay $10 for extra 50GB. I will be allowed 3 violations per calendar year.
What are other options I have that do not limit downloads? I would like to get
comparable speeds as well.
I did a chat with ATnT agent and they offer same speed at higher cost and I have to pay for a special modem and installation.

The last time I contemplated AT&T Internet service I remember limit definitely being lower than 300gb/month, can't remember the exact number though. If you have some horse trading skills, you can get the modem and installation for free, at least, I was able to. I ended up staying with Comcast.

Thanks Jaydarl for the reply back! looks like I have to stick with comcast and be below the 300GB/month mark. With all the online streaming options opening up, I dunno how I would keep it under control!
