Me and my family are relocating from Germantown, TN to Brentwood, TN. I'm looking for professional but affordable moving company to do it. From what I read on yelp.com even major companies like Big League Movers are not to be trusted and after reading several bad reviews I'm very worried about finding suitable people to move our stuff. We have several very delicate pieces of furniture and I am definetly not risking damaging them!

Please help and share your experiences. Who can we trust?

I'm pretty sure Big League Movers writes their own reviews. I went to school with the owners, and I recognize some names of their reviewers on Google. They may have moved some of their friends and did a great job, but I found it fishy. I chose not to use them for that reason.
I think I used "Tennessee Moving" with the calligraphy on the side of the truck. They were ok. They were very courteous and kept my house clean, but they put a deep indention scratch about 4" long on one of my dining room tables. I didn't complain because everything else turned out fine and mistakes happen.

All star moving worked well for me. But then I went to them with a groupon deal. Be careful of the person there called Drew. he will try to talk you into paying a service fee for being X miles out of the zip code on the groupon deal. Just stand your ground and you should be fine.

Contact Able Moving Company and see if they can do a move to Brentwood. I've never used them for anything but local moves, but their website mentions long distance moves as well.

It's a small locally owned company. I first used them back in the 70s and they've moved me 4 other times since. They've moved friends and family a few times as well upon my recommendation. They've also done a LOT of moving for two different companies I've worked for.

In my experience, their prices are the best around. They don't have the fanciest, prettiest trucks around but they do a great job and they take care of your stuff.

Needless to say, I'm a satisfied customer

Thanks Joe, considering I am in the market for a local mover, this seems like a good idea.
