The fact that the economy is in the toilet right now certainly isn't helping your situation. Have you tried UPS? I believe you said you were going to live in Cordova (Riverwood maybe?). UPS would be close to home. Good luck!

Look for help wanted signs in gas stations. I made $320 a week at a gas station before I found a job in my field. Grocery stores are good too. It's fall and the teenagers are going back to school. It's a good time of year to try for a job like that.

Xmas is coming and the warehouses, FedEx and UPS will be staffing up. It may not be what you want but it'll get you through the rough season to look at a new year fresh.

I looked for a job for 2 months after graduating with my Bachelor's... I was not prepared for the interview process at all. I went to Barnes & Noble and got the book, "What does someboby have to do to get a job around here? 44 insider secrets that will get you hired" by Cynthia Shapiro. This book is worth its weight in GOLD. After reading the book and taking its advice to heart, I got a job within three weeks that is relocating me to Memphis. Get the book. Seriously.
