Hi,
My family is from Ohio but we are considering a move to Memphis, more specifically West Rock Condo's in Germantown. Can anyone give us any information about this area and the local schools? Thank you -

Good area. All I know about those condos is that they were originally apartments built maybe in the 70s and converted recently to condos. They may be great, but converted apartment complexes aren't my favorite type of condo...

They're not bad. Like Joe, I'm not too big on converted apartments. However, those apartments never looked too shoddy, and I know the group that redeveloped the apartments sunk quite a bit of money into the project.

Thanks for the info. It's hard for my husband to make a decision about the offer the company has given him because he's only been in Memphis for a day for the interview (took all day), and I haven't been there at all. West Rock looks nice from the website and other searches I have done. I really don't want to spend time doing yard work and West Rock has a pool. Our son goes to parochial school (he's in 2nd. grade) but we'll probably send him to public if we move. I just wish someone who lives in West Rock could give me the scoop about it. Thanks for all your help so far.
