"The map now is color coordinated to describe the safety of the areas. Green=Good, Purple=Good..but some my not like it because of some surrounding areas, Yellow=Precede with caution, Orange=Bad..but not the worst, and Red=Bad and worst"

I think you did a great job color coding the map. I'm most familiar with the area around Overton Park and you nailed it in terms of coloring. I do think you have some neighborhoods named strangely. I've never heard "University Area" being applied to just north of Overton Park. I know there's University Street, but I usually hear that area (where Rhodes is) referred to as Overton Park area or Evergreen (or just plain old Midtown). The Evergreen Church is on University so I'd include that as one neighborhood. Usually the University Area would make someone think of around UofM.

So on this beautifully-rendered guide, Uptown is a purple. Can anyone give some insight into the neighborhood around Greenlaw, just north of St. Jude's hospital? The reason I ask is because where I'm from, the neighborhood around our hospitals in the city are... not nice at all. Hospitals are great, but the residential area around it is sort of crime-ridden.

Uptown is NOT safe in my opinion. The areas look cute, but you have to keep in mind they tore down projects, crack houses, etc to build there. The area is still surrounded by - projects and crack houses. I've known friends to live there, and visiting them at night was scary. My friends homes and cars were routinely broken into, and all eventually moved.

Maybe in a few more years, things will continue to get better. But right now you wouldn't catch me dead (har har) living up there.
