Where is the best place to change my ky plate to a tn plate? Do I need to go to the standard "downtown" clerks office, or someplace closer to the Germantown/US64/Cordova area? Same with smog testing, what would be the best place to go for that?

Hopefully, somebody can double check me, but for the car registration I believe there is an office in the Highland/Poplar shopping center close to Wild Wings and Old Navy. You can shop and eat while you wait!

I have always found the downtown office to be empty compared to any other office. If you work or live downtown, it's the way to go. Otherwise, just get there early and try to get first in line at the other places.

I concour ^

The downtown location is the best. Also you can hit the smog station on the way there. It is located on Washington Ave @ High street

Don't go on mondays unless its absolutely ness. Go at non-peak hours. Say 10am-11:30 or 2pm-4:00. There always the least busy of the 3 you have to choose from. Bring a Book just in case

Hey, as long as your down there you may as well have some fun. Take the trolley loop and if you can stop by The Rendovous and let me know if that gaurd is packing heat. Then you could hit Kooky Kunuck and down a Sasquatch burger.

Pic's are encouraged

The first few days of the month and the last few days are also the busiest. During the middle of the month I can usually be in and out of the Poplar Plaza location in 5 or 10 minutes.
