Please find a way to fix the ridiculous bus system in Memphis. A bus system should work on a schedule. If I want to catch the 9:15 bus to Wolfchase Galleria it should arrive at the bus stop at 9:15 not 10:00. The school buses also don't have a clockwork schedule. It's not that hard. Do a study. Fix the broken down buses, fire the drivers who can't or won't stay on schedule and have a reputable bus system. Memphis will always be a country bumpkin town if it doesn't do this. Tourists look for good bus and rail systems. The trolley is not enough. It runs all of what 3 miles downtown? Come on!

Your complaint would be better directed at MATA. No one here can do anything to help you.

You can reach MATA Administration by calling (901) 722-7100.

Your preachin to the crowd brother. No one here likes MATA's service. They rank right below MLGW in the latest J D Power poll

Default Public Transportation

I'm a big advocate for public transportation. That is one thing that cities the size and density of Memphis doesn't have.

If you want to live in a town with ok public transportation I would suggest St. Louis, Denver, Portland and Seatle. Try New York City, Chicago or DC for excellent transportation.

You can't make Memphis into something that its not.

Where is the money going to come from? Memphians don't want to fund the infrustructure they have.

Maybe Memphis will receive enough of it to purchase a few bus benches
