While you probably mean well, it appears you have no understanding of the depths of long term depression if you think such simple things will cure it all. If you read some of the threads here you might get a better understanding of what people are dealing with and the many things they have tried to help themselves. I would encourage you to do that before making another post on this forum.

Great! Thanks! Wow, I bet no one here who has suffered from depression ever THOUGHT of doing any of those things.

Man, you just solved everyone's problems today.

How about "Get rid of the loser who is causing you all the stress?"...Or gee, your job is making you depressed? Just quit.

I have LOTS of cures for "depression"...LOL.

Or how about having great fantasies about how to get rid of that loser? That will cheer up your day.

^^this.

is the reason peole toss out their MSM satellites and detest american media. OP must be uninitiated into true chronic depression. A walk around the block after your mother died from a terminal deisease, or someone has endured a life threatening assault and has PTSD, will NOT be cured by vitamin b-12 or dr drew.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, many should not offer unsolicited advice. It makes it quite worse, and proves the thesis of futility for those who have been true survivors. Psych 101 is for 18 year olds.
