I looked through your history on this forum. I don't discredit that you were assaulted in the past, you shared that story. But, as Maslow's Hierachy of needs dictates, something more recent and physical happened.

Misty, all the best to you, okay? And I hope all goes well with your mom.
The more recent and physical has been the stalking, which has now been superceded by the realization (only tonight!) that I was left out of last rites for my father (intentionally) and am being shut out again as to my mother's true condition.

I have no idea what this has to do with Maslow.

I'm a DV survivor, have advocated, familiar with harassement, stalking and court cases. It can go on for years.

When an obsessed mind has it in for you, don't underestimate what they'll do, some of it covert and seems insignificant to an outsider.

Unfortunately the OP is prime target and the harasser knows she'll be alarmed, dwell and worry. Thats the intent, a psychological game to cause an emotional reaction.

Unless you're familiar with the mentality, its difficult to recognize.
BTW, thank you Virgode for being in the know and for the validation.

You could not be more right in your statement - when an obsessed mind has it in for you, don't underestimate what they'll do, some of it covert and seems insignificant to an outsider.

I've had my door frame bent recently, plants turned upside down, outdoor rugs moved, and even pods picked off my chile ristra. To the uninitiated, these things don't mean anything. To someone who knows, it is the stalkers way of saying "I was here. I was this close. I could get closer if I want to." There is a YouTube video from the UK that specifically states something to the effect of "but then I noticed that X was moved, ever so slightly." That was a video on stalking.

I wish more people would take the time to learn about this. January is Nat'l Stalking Awareness month, so at least *someone* recognizes the seriousness of this issue.

Anyway, I got IMs from someone called Candy_Misty5. Well, as you all can see, my username here is Misty. What you don't know is that there is a 5 in my password. I do not do IMs and there is no reason for anyone to be sending me an IM. I don't do text messages either.

So...I'm thinking that this isn't a coincidence either. This is really starting to irritate me. I don't know how to delete my email address permanently and you'd be surprised at what messages I've been sent. This is cyberstalking. Oh well, the bright side is at least it's FBI territory.
You know, for someone who -knows- she's paranoid, who thinks every pair of eyes is a potential stalker, you really open yourself up to problems. I think you do it on purpose.

How about - change your security preferences in your IM client. Make it so the only people who can IM you, are people whose names YOU have put on YOUR buddy list.

Problem solved.

You don't need to delete your e-mail address permanently. You only need to pick a new e-mail address, and then stop checking your old one.

Problem #2 solved.

Really, this isn't rocket science. If you took HALF as much time securing yourself as you do posting here complaining about problems, you wouldn't have problems to post about. Hm...there's a thought.

This post...I was reluctant to even bring up your posting history as it's always possible you changed. People change and I for one change rapidly. But this post...:/

Theres no shortage of cuckoo birds in the world. This isn't the same as stalking or harassment by a total schizophrenic stranger or an ex lover, partner.

You've become someones entertainment. As hard as it may be for you to accept, you're feeding their needs with acknowledgement.

They're enjoyment at the expense of your mental health.

Scroll down to the post by nedergras. The circles were supposedly three of the men who were stalking her at the time...

Misty,

Read the thread in the link. The one thing I do want to comment on is the adderall. Your dosage may be to high. I've personally witnessed the side effects it can have, and may not be the right medication for you.

My granddaughter was 5-6 yrs old at the time and called me to come over, she was living with her mother, her mothers ADD.

I went in to find her mom sitting on the sofa, knife in hand, paranoid about these people who were trying to get in the apartment. It was a side effect from the adderall, her dosage was way to high and she had increased herself without the doctors knowledge.

Later I found out she was abusing her medication when the psychiatrist who was prescribing had been alerted by the pharmacy that the date on her script had been adjusted and refused to see her as a patient. I found out she had adderall prescribed for my granddaughter and was taking her medication as well. DFS finally got involved and removed her from the home.

I'm not accusing you of an adderall addiction, but theres something wrong. I blew up the picture of the trees with the circles as far as I could. I'm sorry sweetie....I don't see any faces in those pics, not even remotely do they resemble faces...

Seriously...stay away from the adderall, its a dangerous addictive narcotic. Find an alternative medication without the side effects.
