How often do you cry?

I am very emotionally expressive . . .I probably cry a few times per month . . .

I can't imagine not crying - it releases the pain of whatever . . .I do recall a period of time when I didn't cry for years . . .I don't think that was healthy, but at the time, I thought it was.

I NEVER cried much as a kid. But I cry a lot more now. I cry whenever the words in a book connect with me, when a movie is touching, when I write diary entries, when I'm passionate about something and no one "gets it", when I didn't get that "thing" I wanted. But I don't cry in public.

I cry a few times a year,It takes alot to break me and make me cry. Last time I cried was when I had to take my hubby to the emergency room for a diverticulitis attack. It was the 2nd time and I was upset and just emotionally tired. Sometimes I cry when I don't feel well.

Almost only when I am watching a movie or reading a book that is emotionally moving to me (often it won't be a typical "tear-jerker", though if it's done in a not overly-cliched way, I can still get caught by those).

Actually, many times, just the music in certain movies can bring me to tears. For some reason, "Time" from the movie "Inception" sets me to tears every time, just something about that key I guess. One of the scores in "Gettysburg" is another one where it won't take long for the tears to come (there are scores of others).

I can't remember the last time when I cried for another reason besides that. I wasn't going to vote since there wasn't the option of "at just very specific situations", but I decided perhaps it averaged out to a few times per month.

Interestingly, I used to be rather visibly emotional when I was younger (cry a lot when every little thing went wrong, and got visibly angry easily); now it is not that way anymore--I can get rather hyper and enthusiastic about things and display much intensity in that manner, but sadness (to the point of crying) and anger are not emotions I display very often anymore.

I CAN'T cry...if I shed even a single tear my eyes swell up and I get hit with a severe migraine. It's really awful. My eyes will often still be swollen as much as twelve hours later.

I'm envious of those who CAN'T cry.
I cry 24/7
and in front of EVERYONE

and hate myself for that.

I think the last time I cried was about 20 years ago or more as a child.

If you ask me the last time I punched an inanimate object though......
