I take Lyrica, and I see from various internet forums that some people complain bitterly of weight gains, as if the Lyrica had added twenty or more pounds to their body weight.

No, the Lyrica made them very hungry...and it was a constant nagging hunger (I know, I had it), and they gave into it and shoveled food in like a hog at the trough and are now complaining that Lyrica caused them to gain weight.

No, eating caused them to gain weight. The answer is to take responsibility for what you eat and how much. I have now actually been able to loose weight while taking the Lyrica.
Exactly.

I'm on Lyrica too, but take it at night when I'm asleep so I don't feel the hunger effects.

If one writes down EVERYTHING they put in their mouth during the day they would surprised at what the calories add up to.

I'm on Lyrica 3-times per day. I don't just take it at night.

Thanks for the insights.

I just started Lyrica, so I'm really watching my calories. Hopefully, it helps enough so I can exercise more.

Lots of drugs affect people differently, so you cannot get an unequivocal yes or no.

This site will show you how many reported what side effects in trials vs. a placebo.

To me that's the best info you're going to get.
