we have a lot of extra work now and with school I am very overwhelmed. My depression is getting really bad, to the point that I asked my doctor to put me on antidepressants.

Anyone here on the same predicament?

I have been there. Completely overwhelmed and fatigued all the time. No solutions. Just take it easy. Try to keep up with the house. Do basic chores right when you get home. Taking a shower when you get home helps too.

Thanks. Have you been on antidepressants before?

Are you seeing a therapist along with being on the anti-depressants ?

Sometimes it helps to scale back a bit~~ refocus, and get rid of some of the stress and chaos ... Make a list of things that make you happy, goals you want to reach- long and short term, and focus on what is needed to accomplish those. If you fall into a depression, and get sick, you won't accomplish anything in the end.

It's important to have your own down time. And, while I realize there is a need for money, perhaps you can trim your budget ... Mental health is crucial. Take at least 1 day a week to have all for yourself ...

I saw a therapist in the past, but now I feel like my depression is more "chemical" than mental.... But thanks for the advice.

I'm not sure what that means exactly, but when someone is on any type of prescriptive mood enhancement drug, they should be seeing a professional. Depression does not just go away, it's a serious issue. There is getting the blues, seasonal blues, and there is getting depression, which can grow deeper ...

Good luck.

I once tried working at two full time jobs. I couldn't do it!

Can you cut back on your work hours a bit or cut back on your school classes?
