That is so true--I always tell kids that life will never be as bad as it is now b/c even if worse things do happen you'll be in a better position to deal with them and that has certainly been true in my life. Right now it's all so new, and yet so old at the same time--you're looking at the world in a whole different way than you ever did and discovering that the truth of things is so much colder and harder than you were ever led to believe and many teens end up feeling that they were lied to when really their parents were just trying to preserve their innocence for as long as they could. But once that innocence is stripped away the feelings can be overwhelming. Once you get everything slapped back down into place it will all be rearranged and you'll be a full adult.

I stop going because I didn't feel like I was getting anything out of it, at first I enjoyed it and then it became an annoyance almost like a chore.
Thanks everyone,I've come to the conclusion that I was probably annoyed/overwhelemed a.c over tired, I worked 33 hours that week and was low on sleep. It hasn't happened again since though.

teen years are very hard for most people. yes it is normal. keep talking to your friends and go back to the counseling if you continue to feel bad
