So, my mom, dad, and uncle are 55, 57, and 70, respectively, and I'm worried they'll die in 5-20 years. It's really been getting to me lately. Any advice?
Advice about what?..We're ALL going to die sometime, you might die before any of them. I would really quit worrying, it's all for naught, the only advice I could give would be that you enjoy their company now as much as possible, as there are no guarantees in life, and things could change at any time...don't let their ages scare you, be happy in life, it makes no sense to worry about what we all know inevitably will happen to us all.
What disorder? You didn't say if your relatives have had or are having any health problems. Of course one would worry if you had a family member that had been ill. One never can be sure how long we will be here. Maybe taking a look at the health stats in your area might ease your mind some. Take a look at the map, Life Expectancy by Texas county in the link below.
Some people are more worrier types, being depressed and full of anxiety can also produce a lot of stress about everything. I'm a worrier, my mom was that way too, some people are just more like that than others.
