The range of symptoms from Asperger's varies. There are as many different combinations as there are people...believe it or not! Having a temper might be one person's symptom out of 1,000, let's say. Not all with Asperger's have a temper or are angry. They cannot be placed in a box.

ITA. My adult son has Aspergers and has probably never "lost his temper" as an adult. He gets agitated no more or less than the average person.
Lots of good points here. My son has Aspergers/Autism and he does not say the same thing over and over, but sometimes he does repeat himself. He also asks alot of questions that, because he doesnt filter what he says, annoy other adults. I agree it does sound like Aspbergers or Autism or some kind of social anxiety. He probably just wants to be friendly. I would encourage you and coworkers to be straight with him,(obviously in private), because he isnt going to know his asking the same thing over and over is annoying unless you tell him directly. (Cant read "between the lines" is a common trait of Autism/Aspergers). He will likely appreciate it, especially if you let him know that you accept him, etc. Tell him a little about yourself, and ask him a little about himself, and that way he will be more comfortable talking without driving you up a wall :>) If he does OTHER things that annoy you, just tell him in private and he will probably welcome your straightforward talk. Many people with poor social skills are really very bright and you may find you enjoy talking with him more than you imagined. Just my two cents.
