Hi, I used to get anxiety and panic attacks for about a 2 year period after I graduated from college. Since then I have learned about the amazing benefits of supplementing with magnesium. For the last 4 years since I started taking it I have never had a single anxiety attack?! So I put this together in my mind at some point and when my buddy called me complaining about these debilitating panic attacks he has been having lately, I suggested he start taking magnesium. Well it turns out that he no longer has anxiety or panic attacks since starting the mag regiment.

I'm putting it out there, if you have anxiety give this a try and leave your feedback. I don't know if this is some fluke coincidence or a real natural non drug cure for anxiety? I suggest you look into magnesium deficiency and how many related symptoms, they are in the hundreds!

I also read to stay away from magnesium oxide.

Is it over the counter? What dosage? What brand?

Have you had a lack of magnesium before?

Health food store and almost instantly. Drinking a lot of diet drinks depletes calcium and magnesium.

Default Magnesium Citrate has good absorption

I read that Magnesium oxide is not as absorbable as other forms such as magnesium citrate. the reason I mention this is that most drug stores that sell vitamins, such as CVC wal-green or right aid, only sell magnesium oxide. There is some really good stuff you can get called "Natural Calm" they sell it at health food places, I get it on Amazon. Read the reviews on amazon, people love this stuff, so do i. I don't get the flavored once, they are gross tasting in my opinion, just the plain flavor. This stuff is super absorbable and you will most likely feel good after you drink it if you are magnesium deficient, This is the stuff I gave my friend that was the beginning of the end of his anxiety, and he was instantly bouncing off the walls (he felt really good). Just make sure to ease into it like the directions say, it can cause loose stools if you jump in to fast. I also take 150 ml 3 times a day sometimes, this is like a slow trickle of magnesium throughout the day. But I also heard it is best to take it at night.

I suggest people research it, anxiety is just the tip of the iceberg of things that magnesium deficiency can cause in the human body. You can find over 300 symptoms, including depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, insomnia, poor circulation, heart attacks, strokes, bad skin, the list goes on and on... I am seriously starting to believe it's the most underrated supplement.

It's also great for barometric pressure headaches. It's the only thing that alleviates mine when the weather changes. It also helps migraines for some people.

I'm going to have to tell my friend about it for anxiety, maybe it'll help her out a bit.
