For a long time, I've felt on the brink of emotional collapse, but I just keep plugging away at life.

Lately I've been having this reoccurring dream where I'm exploring this house that somehow now belongs to me. I keep finding more and more rooms the more I explore, and these rooms are full of furniture and stuff. I get excited about getting to keep some of this furniture. The dream last night, there was a whole huge basement room of many different whole sets of furniture. I always end up waking up before I get to the end of the house, or figure out what I'm going to do with the stuff.

I own a house now that I desperately want to sell, and I never want to own one again. I certainly in real life would never be excited about acquiring a house full of endless rooms of junk. So what could my brain be trying to tell me? I can't stand having this dream anymore!

The traditional interpretation is that YOU are the house.

I have heard many say that dreams are a way of release. Not important that they make any sense at all.

I do like nightly sparrows interp. The rooms could be unexplored ventures or perhaps they represent responsibilities that you will have someday. Can you see the furniture? Is there a certain type? Do you like the furniture or want to get rid of it? Could the dream be telling you that you have some unfinished business that needs to be addressed? Or many unfinished things?

You could be considering different sides to you, new ventures, the move, etc. Embarking on buying a consignment - antique shop? A curator of antiques, art, etc. ?? Maybe?
