Does anyone here get really panicked and obsessed over keeping invoices paid in advance?

For Example:
$1,000 In Credit w/ Verizon FIOS
Monthly Bill is $250/mo

*Invoice Day* You are $750 in credit.

Constantly Look At The Bill/Invoice For 72 Hours.

I can only stop the obsession by depositing exactly the same amount of money of which I am in credit, so for example, $750 would be the amount I would need to deposit, taking the total amount to $1,500, just to stop the obsession of constantly looking at my bill.

It is the same with all bills, rent, services, etc.

Does anyone get this?

A CPA with a large corporation would be most displeased with your bill paying!

They like to wait until the last second to pay each bill, then they can keep the funds in the bank receiving interest. And with large corporations, the amount of money for monthly bills can be millions of dollars, so 30 extra days of keeping that in the bank can mean a BIG chunk of change!

For a cure to your problem, I suggest you tell all on CPA web sites. They will chastise you royally (and you will give them nightmares. )

If that does not work, try counseling. Ask at your county health department about where to get counseling.

I also do this when running my business.

For example, I pay office rent for Month A, 28 days before Month B starts I get an invoice to pay Month B, so I automatically pay for Month B when I receive an invoice which is normally 3 days after I have my money deducted for Month A.

Why allow Verizon to make interest with your money?

Put it in your own back and make interest for yourself.

Your plan does not seem to stop your obsession.

The answer to your question...No, I don't.

I don't get that part. Maybe you should just set up an auto debit.
