I hate loud noises too, wether or not I anticipate them (fireworks are still scary), and bass noise is almost as bad for me as loud sudden noises. Sometimes I'll wear headphones in public if I'm already anxious just so I don't get the extra noise of crying kids or loud people.

Honestly.. I had a car behind me with his bass was so loud and booming...he seemed to catch every light with me..I have horrible tinnitus and seriously felt like I was going to be sick..the pressure in my head was freaky..I got away from him and was fine...

My husband did that, too. I think the windows shook when he sneezed! Some people are loud when they walk, talk or do anything. Does it have anything to do with how we were raised? I'm not sure. I told my teenager that he sounded like a herd of ponies just walking down the steps in the house.
