Hello all! I think I have a mental disorder. Sometimes my mind can feel like an endless loop. My brain will think of the worst case, totally irrational scenario in which i lose all my friends, future, etc. It's like this doomsday scenario is on replay in my mind until my stress and anxiety level is through the roof. I dont know what to do. It can sometimes feel like my brain is a jail cell. Combine that with how i cant stop myself from calorie counting, I just dont know what is wrong with me?

Do any of yall have any idea?

(I dealt with the anxiety today by running myself 10 miles, which was when I felt lightheaded).

If see your family doctor who can then send you to specialist if need be. Could be stress or depression .Not all depression is a lifetime. It could also be that your having physical heath problems that can effect thinking and even cause depression.

Running is a great idea. See the doctor, too. And maybe start reading some very engaging novels to occupy your mind.

You sound like you have OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder.

Make an appt with a therapist right away - this can be treated and overcome, but will get worse if you don't get help

Get yourself into some B vitamins through food mostly. It can help. Especially niacin rich foods. And get out on Sunny days. Really our brains have a hard time dealing with issues if they are under nurished. I hope this helps.
