I have a friend that's n A voluntary mental ill program how can I help get them out.of that.bad situation they are in. the workers they're all very very rude and disrespectful who can they call are talk to.any information you may have will be greatful really appreciate it thank you very much God bless

If it is a voluntary program he/she would have the option of not going if it is outpatient. If it is inpatient, they would have the option of leaving AMA (against medical advice). Either way just quit.

Now, If this program is offering services that your friend really needs like medication, therapy etc. you might leave this one alone.

Every program is regulated by the State. Every program has a Director. Complaints are taken seriously and will be addressed.

Your friend can request her own release from the program and work with her Social Workers to connect her up with a clinic and a psychiatrist should she need continued care. She is not being held against her will.

and this might also not really be happening
often patients see staff as rude, when they might be direct in their speaking
are you sure you are not co dependent??
you can cause harm when you think you are helping
and not one person here knows what is really going on
only what you are telling
honestly, folks really jump in with opinions when they really do not have all the facts
