Hi... I’m here to get some help or advice.

My older brother is an alcoholic, there’s not a single day that he is not drunk, what worse is he is starting to use drugs. I caught him one time in his room with his addict friends using drugs, Guess what they did? They force me to use it too, I thought my elder brother would stop them, but he’s the one who's insisting me to puff one. I don’t like how I felt that time and I don’t want it to happen again. I’m now currently searching for some good rehab center. If you guys know some any idea how rehab works or a treatment program that can help my brother, please tell me, or if you know some alternative ways to help my brother, let me know it please. Currently, I'm reading this Addiction Treatment Center Thornton that stumbled upon a while ago. I really need help right now, I’m only a teenager and I don’t want to be like him.

Generally, you cannot help someone who won't admit they have a problem or otherwise won't seek help themselves. Perhaps an intervention with yourself and other family & friends (non-drinkers) would help him face his problem.

Your not responsible for your brother...leave that to your parents....and if you don't behave as he dies...you won't be like him.....honestly this is probably the wrong forum for this....you should try posting in the non-romantic relationshipstatus gorum.

Get in touch with Al-Anon. They have Al-aTeen programs that can help you find answers for the questions you have and you can talk with people who have been through what you're experiencing.

Thank you for your advice, I will tell my parents to do some intervention with our family and friends. Hopefully, this will work.

Thank you guys for the response. I do really appreciate it. I will inform you if there's any progress.
God bless you all.
