The earliest age I have heard of people being diagnosed with dementia is their 40s, so I think your own problem lies elsewhere. I hope you figure out what it is. I think the anxiety reason could be something to look more deeply into.
If you have anxiety and depression, it may be due to that. You could also ask your doctor to rule out a vitamin deficiency, especially B12. This happened to me, causing several neurological and psychiatric symptoms.
