I'll third it. I remember when everything was crumbling and I was alternatly busy trying to save something, pushing away bleak despair, and telling myself it would work out, when I got right down to the person who started the mess I was so deeply and clearly angry there was no worry, fear or distress, just deep loathing.

My first husband and the father of my children acquired anxiety which was eventually diagnosed as an anxiety psychosis. It eventually destroyed him. One thing his psychiatrist prescribed were relaxation exercises as he said my mate had probably never relaxed. We did those exercises together much of the time. His anxiety was a fear that he would harm me and the children although he would not want to. His doctor assured me he wouldn't do it.
