Hi, I'd like to try barbiturates before I die. I have major depression disorder. I know this sounds sad and maybe morbid, but I long for the feeling of total relaxation and sedation that I think barbiturates could provide.

Does anyone else feel this way? I take benzos occasionally, and they're fine. But they're not particularly strong.

I know barbs are dangerous because a little too much leads to death. With the drug laws in this country, I'll probably never be able to experience them

Take that night time cold/flu medicine - same feeling of suddenly being quite sleepy!

Also the allergy medicine Benadryl will give you the same feeling.

As for myself, unless I am sick, I prefer coffee or cola - that stimulates me in the morning - I am energized and get stuff done!

And I feel good when I get things done.

No, I want to out out like Marylin Monroe- barbiturate overdose. Either that or a morphine overdose.

Thank God for hospice. I refuse to suffer in the end of my life like my parents did.

Well I should think it would be like having surgery and them putting you to sleep with anesthesia (if you have ever had surgery). You go to sleep so fast, you don't even realize it!

So nothing to feel as you would not be awake to feel it!

That's why I don't understand people who go to bars and get falling down drunk as quickly as possible - all sorts of shots, AMF's, drinks loaded with high alcohol %. I preferred to drink a weaker drink and no shots - then I could be out all night and have fun - not have to go home after an hour.

Anyway so far as drugs and alcohol go, less is more!

The effect of barbiturates is really no different than alcohol. You're not missing anything.

I'm confused, are you asking for barbiturates to enjoy the high or to kill yourself? Not that either is a good idea.
