Sometimes on Saturdays I stay home all day and play on the computer and stay in my PJ's. Is this bad? I work M-F so I like to give myself a break but I feel lazy and awful! I do go out back and play with the dog and run around If my husband and I go to lunch I shower and dress since I DO NOT GO OUT in PJ"s! Is this bad to stay home all day
Of course it's not bad, and well deserved! Important R&R. Are you feeling lazy and awful because someone else has said this is not a good thing? Maybe a parent when you were a kid led you to feel this way?
We need to establish our own sense of what our own needs are. Happy Pajama Days!
Bad? Not at all! Comfy is what I call it. However it is a bit strange to go grocery shopping in PJ's and fuzzy slippers as I've seen a few times here in my town...that's odd, but hey, whatever floats your boat...
I really can't imagine doing that unless I was sick, but then maybe that is just me. I would be depressed if I stayed in my pajamas all day. I need to go to bed each night feeling like I've accomplished positive things - something for our home, my family, someone else or myself. You say you feel lazy and awful so I don't think you are doing yourself much good. How about getting dressed and making your bed early in the day and then doing a couple things around the house . Then you will feel good about just goofing off or doing something enjoyable with your husband or friends outside of the house or having friends over for a barbecue or something. That combination of work/play is good even on a day off.
I'm still in mine- been working on my taxes, playing online and cleaning. I love hanging out in my PJs, but it is embarassing if someone comes to the door at 5pm.
