Find my thread on being married to someone with bipolar. If I was just dating, no kids I would run so fast. Not to be cruel or selfish, but because it is an abyss that only gets worse.

Not read any responses, but you don't sound like you are in a good place yourself, you are going to be toxic for each other.

Sounds like you should split up and both stay single for a while and work on your issues

Bravo Sierra! My wife of 20 years plus dive years of friendship before marriage is bipolar and very capable of all of those, and more.

I guess is depends on whether or not you let the disorder define the person. If so, you shouldn't.

Yeah, but you have serious issue of your own, like severe insecurity and jealousy.

Run for the hills. You are a toxic combo. After a year, if she is not sticking to her meds and going to therapy, she won't magically get better.

It can be with some but certainly not all. Some self-medicate. Some overspend. It's unique to each person. Are you overreaching and just looking for reasons to bail? It certainly sounds that way to me. Do some freaking research. It's not difficult. For the record, my bipolar wife is as loyal as the day is long.
