Is this bipolar or BPD? She can get very irritable, claims she is always right, and gets upset all the time at stores, she gets distracted while doing one task and goes to the next task without completing either tasks. It shows as she lives in a very disorganized area. Makes others feel like they are walking on egg shells.
She is very sensitive and gets very upset and fearful of being abandoned.
Makes promises when she is in a good mood like a hypomanic state. But she never keeps any of her promises. Talks excessively and does not let anyone else talk. Talks about herself too frequently and not interested in what others have to say. She looks so depressed days after the hypomanic, happy, state.
Seems something is just not right. I cannot advise this person but concerned what is wrong.
I keep calm and let her talk and I now realize she has something wrong but what is it?
I am thinking BPD or bipolar? Also this person had a very traumatic childhood event.
She has no to very few acquaintances not friends and she is very intelligent just seems to be suffering
from bipolar or BPD?

If you have influence use it to encourage her to get formally evaluated and treated. Whatever she is experiencing can not be pleasant for her and she deserves some relief.
