Black Tea may be a good compromise. Plenty of caffeine in there with a much better taste and more antioxidants. Also, I think you can actually re-hydrate by drinking tea. A big cup of coffee after a jog doesn't really do the same... or sound very appealing.

hey i have to add to this... i drink bout 3 frappuccinos a day and it makes me tired...my cousin has ADHD and there was a medication thats prescribed to him to calm him down but if he takes it while hes calm its a boost effect (basically its reversed)... i dont know what the medication is but i have a feeling that frappuccinos are connected to whatevers in this medication, as in they work the same way... for the comment above i agree that coffee warms ur stomache but theres one problem...frappuccinos are cold coffee's... if i remember correctly the pill was like a sugar cube... maybe the problem is that were getting too much sugar in our systems. just a thought im no expert

Coffee doesn't make me tired, but it doesn't wake me up either. I can fall asleep immediately after drinking a couple cups, in fact.

I drink it because I like it and I have no other vise, so I figure it's OK. I drink about 4 cups a day, sometimes 5. It's possible I've stressed out my adrenals or something. The blood sugar drop possibility is interesting too.
