And there are some amazing people with Aspergers!!! ... highly intelligent, creative, beautiful.

You know something is wrong already. You don't need to post in a forum to ask how to be like other people. Maybe get a life coach, that might help.

I know that very well. There is nothing wrong with having a disability, but the sooner people get help the better off they are and the better they will be able to function in society.

Normally this is caught when people are young, but there is a new wave of adults being dx. Probably because back in their day nobody knew enough about it to dx it. Parents probably just thought thier kid was a little different and probably had some behavoural problems and hoping they would grow out of it.

Well you say that everything in life has a cost
What do you mean by that?
I am not sure I get what you are trying to say there.
Since that is some kind of common wisdom, I am not sure I "get it".

It means that for every action taken in life, something is expended or foregone. There always is an opportunity cost, and nothing in life is free.

Asperger's aside, is it possible that you're depressed? It sounds like you're really down on yourself.

Perhaps you should make an appointment with your doctor and talk to him/her about your concerns.

I've read enough of your posts on city-data-forum to know that you are not mentally impaired.
You're quite intelligent and i'd be surprised if you didn't know it.
There's something else going on (Aspergers or other) and at this point it should be obvious that your original question is not going to be answered to your satisfaction on this forum.
Or perhaps it already has (Aspergers) and you just need time to process that possibility and go and see someone if you are so inclined.
So, since you are an adult and i'm assuming one that can sufficiently function, perhaps it's time to make some significant connections in the "real world" and discover for yourself, with the help of an embodied (ie; not on the internet) person or persons, what it is that you need in order to feel better about yourself.

Ok, well I am 54 and I have not figured that out; I still believe in unconditional love.
