Too bad our government isn't enforcing the borders and most of that stuff is headed here. Some greedy cartel guys will get themselves very rich destroying lives. They're even pushing meth at the middle schools.

Yeah right... 4 billion if sold cut by the gram, maybe but even then... 15 tons = 15.000.000 grammes, which would equal about $250 to the gram... Ma arse... Pure Colombian snow is three times cheaper than that... I love how they always overstate the value of what they've got whenever they do a drug bust somewhere...
Wholesale prices of meth go around $7,000 by the kilo, a ton would probably be around $5-7M. 15 tons brings us in the $75 to $105 million range. Still a lot of money, and probably quite painful for the cartel to whom it belonges, as these are even large sums for them, but nowhere near $4 billion...

Also, 15 tonnes equaling 13 million doses??? You have to be one hell of a tweaker to not end up at the ER after taking a 1.2 gram dose of pure crystal... 75 million doses would be more accurate, I just hope some teenager looking to experiment with dope for the first time isn't basing his or her assumptions on how much to take on this article...
