Ok, your bugging out now. I lived in Dallas for a bit. That is one of the most ridiculous places I have ever seen in my entire life in terms of driving and I have lived in NYC, L.I., Dallas/Fort Worth and a few cities in florida. Don't get me wrong. miami is bad but NOTHING like the dallas area. They are on some other stuff out there. I remember on a few occasions while driving home from work I saw no less than four accidents with in miles of each other. One car was flipped over on its roof. Also you know that shoulder of the road where you use that to pull over and fix your tire or whatever? Well they use that to pass out there. I was really really shocked to see how they drive out there given how nice the people are when you speak to them on a one to one bases.

I think you guys are just wussies lol. Come to New York and see how people drive, then you might think again about South Florida driving. Just take a ride on the Major Deegan in the Bronx, you'll know what crazy driving is like.

Yeah, to me, wild animals are the real danger here in Florida (especially snakes).

The other one was at about 30 mph and the driver in the left lane had to slam on the breaks to avoid an accident. I thought for sure he would ipact the idiot who left turned in front of him but somehow he stopped in time. I wanted to look for the license plate on the idiot's car and see if it was a Florida one but he had already made his turn and it was out of site.
In general though the big difference is the lack of tailgaters and better merging. It's amazing how much better traffic can flow without those two things being present.
I was almost killed driving from the Woodlands south on I-45 towards Downtown Houston ( which I love ) by a taco truck ... yes a frickin taco truck .. sideswiped my rental car Houston has many crappy drivers but they are Mother Theresa's compared to Miami drivers !!

Where I will disagree with you though is that everyone drives poorly, regardless of ethnicity. It seems to be the norm and far too socially acceptable to drive recklessly or even drunk.

Wow the world is ending as we know it .. we agreed on something

My wife who is Hispanic ( Cuban American ) gives me the perspective on the young male Hispanic drivers ... so blame her for my ignorance !!

I heard that term for the first time at a Super Cuts in Weston .. Rob Konrad who used to play full back for the Dolphins a few years ago and who is a native of Mass ... taught me the term as he too was getting his haircut .. he also agreed that Miami drivers were worse !!
