Well, Mary Brickell Village has Publix, LA Fitness, a bunch of shops and restaurants which weren't originally there when CitiCentre was planned back a few years ago. So it'll bring the value of the surrounding places up.

Christopher Gandolfo is Director overseer of this project(Brickell Centre) having had a two-year stint in Shanghai,a Florida native who along with Swire Properties is responsible for the development of Brickell Key here in Miami.

Word on the internetz is that he took like 20 years to complete the Brickell Key project.

So, things are looking good for that area! All the big buildings do not have to necessarily be by the water! Yay for density!
