Said co-worker/friend has been broken into twice in 2 years, BTW.

Wasn't there a neighbourhood ranking overlay on this thread?
It was really useful - does anyone still have the link?

Thanks so much!

Are you gonna work? Traffic is a huge issue here. Do you have kids? Do you mind living in a all black/all Hispanic neighborhood? If those are not a problem, I would recommend every area in yellow, green and even some(not all) in light red

Forget public transportation if you wanna live in a single family home

You could find a foreclosures home for that price in south Dade but some homes dont double garage. I don't like homestead because of the Chinese Drywall issues, and yes some developments are section 8 holes, but others are ok but still have drywall problems

someone please post the link to Crisp map. I can't right now. That thread should have a sticky.

Absolutely, if it's not Coral Gables or South Beach.

NYC isn't as bad as Miami. But prices have gone up here quite a bit. That amount you could probably get a small townhouse...a 2bed2bath. Honestly and thats probably in Hialeah

Sorry, but for that price you will probably have to give up the 2 car garage and safe neighborhood here in Miami
