Chicago's skyline is awesome though. It's the 2nd best in the US, Miami is 3rd.

I didn't say Cubans as a group were immune to being arrogant, but I would hardly classify that as a unique characteristic among all people in the US.

He feels pretty much the same way about Miami as you do, only he was born and raised here. I know it's easy to lash out and blame Cubans or Nicaraguans, but you really can't. Miami attracts douchy people from all over the place and was a party town long before the Cubans came.

p.s. my wife is Cuban.
So is mine ... Glas .... great lady and I have learned a lot about the positives and negatives of Miami and its Cuban community from her !!

That miami sky line thing is bogus, its from some site that includes south beach with the downtown. The skyline is one continuos thing. I mean if thats the case why not include Manhattans skyline with Staten Islands and queens. I digress though. But anyway, im going to have to challenge you on the Chicago not as large a high rise units as miami. Im going to need to see some figures. I love Chicago, my second favorite city in the states (behind NYC).

dude, im telling you what the site said that came up with this bogus figure. I didn't say that, they did. The person who brought it here got it from a skyscraper forum. The skyscraper forum got it from some bogus website and on that bogus website it says it includes miami beach and downtown. You gotta find that thread to see what im saying, im lazy right now and dont feel like digging it up :P

Wild, I posted that just seconds after your post.

Let's keep in mind that Miami has the 3rd longest connected skyline in America, not the densest.
