I don't mean to be rude, but judging by your writing skills, I get the impression that you yourself never made it through high school.

At least proof read what you write, before making a total ass out of yourself by acting high & mighty.

(friendly advice).

The grammar issue is a sensible thing here in Miami as people our age (18-25) don't have a proper grammar foundation. Maybe she is not from here, just like me; I do use Google's check speller though.

You know, MDPS don't teach us grammar/ sentence structure, only reading comprehension.

To be honest, my mom is a very nervous person up in LI and I was worried how she would manage when she came to Miami to visit me. She got lost in some ghetto, stopped and asked for directions (more than once did she get lost during one car ride!) and had nothing but positive things to say for the people who helped her out, specifically mentioning how nice they are. She even called the driving here (which we did in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Downtown/Brickell, South Beach at night, etc) "a piece of cake."

I dunno, I think maybe not hiding poor manners is better than being a subtle snob about manners and showing a condescending attitude about it. Let's be honest here: no grown person is going to change their manners and general thinking by someone screaming "You're welcome!" when they fail to say "thank you." A response like that doesn't act as a catalyst for constructive thinking; rather, it acts as a general reinforcement to a negative, insensitive way of thinking.

I never needed perfect grammar for my degree. There are tons of people with perfect grammar working at book stores and coffee shops. Their liberal arts degree didn't prepared them for the real world. Who proofreads posts in a forum anyway? LoL. Perhaps people with poor time management skills.

Have a wonderful afternoon, and don't bother, I'm not proofreading my posts. If the grammar bothers you, put me on ignore.

Hit a nerve did I, "MiLady"? Honestly, I would never call someone out over poor grammar and (very) poor command of the English language, but in your case, you came here to insult people and put other people down just for having differing views and opinions. If you're going to do that, at least make sure your own ship is in order. In your case, it clearly is not as you write like a 13 year old ESOL student.

I have a degree too, but part of my degree involved proving my proficiency in the English language. In other words, I didn't get my degree from someone in the back of Sedano's.

In other words, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

I won't block you. For the time being, you are somewhat entertaining (in the same way that people find "Jersey Shore" entertaining).

Bigots? As much as I disagree with many of you, I don't come here to insult people. I respect differences of opinion, because that's what makes a debate. I do not respect (and I look down on) childish insults. I will also call out any moron who tries to act "holier than thou" if they can't even write a simple sentence without looking like a friggin' idiot themselves. To make it clear, the pot should never call the kettle "black".

We are also arguing over a troll who has made similar posts on other sites.
