Default why so bitter?

this is the time of year you get to rub in the beautiful weather to all the people up north in frozen wastelands. we are the envy of the country right now. bask in it.

It's January and it's over 80 degrees, maybe not hot but this is supposed to be our coldest month,if it was up to me we would have temperatures between 30 and 70 degrees for at least 6-7 months of the year.Every year when we get to May I just want someone to zonk me out until October.

doom: then why live here? the whole reason there are even people here at all is they come here for the warmth. you seem to miss the biggest benefit of living here and the reason so many people are here at all.

i cannot get enough heat. when it drops below 70 during cold front days in our building at work. i turn on the heater under my desk.

This summer will be the worst, we had not had any cold fronts this January and please don't say 55 degrees is a cold front because it's not... Sorry, but I can't be sympathetic! lol

Try dealing with the weather we're having in the NJ/NY area.We had two feet of snow right after Christmas, and just last night/into today another 4 inches....ughhhh...

Wish I were dealing with the warm temps and rain.

That's why you need a trailer in the White Mountains of New Hampshire dude. Go there in the summer and back to MIA in October. Now that's the way to live!

That sounds good to me. Or even the Pacific Northwest in Washington or Oregon for the summer and head back no earlier than Oct, preferably Nov. Boy do I wish I had that luxury. Maybe some day. I just want out of S. Florida in the summer.

I agree with you I'm still in Miami due to family but eventually I know I'm going to need to move at least a little north, maybe from Central Florida to Georgia or the Carolinas. And yeah a reverse snowbird would be right up my alley,Florida from October through April and up north for the summer. One thing for sure though is eventually I need to move at least out of South Florida.
