Get ready to pay around $250 a month during the summer months....and around $150 for the rest of the months. Electrical power is very expensive in FL. Some people pay up to $350 a month.

Wow that's so much cheaper than what we pay NJ! That's it, I am moving to MIA today!

In a loft in Hoboken NJ, the heating bill is $500 to $600 per month.

I think it's minimal....and also based on your credit. If you have an efficiency, your bills will be under 50 bucks for 6 months of the year assuming you don't have the AC on during nice days (in the 70s and low 80s). The half of the year your bill will probably double assuming you turn off the AC when you leave the house. It isn't that bad and if you keep the thermostat high, you can control costs quite abit, especially if you have an efficiency that is small and well insolated.

Yeah, that's what I think of as more typical too. Mine was $80-$120 with the summer months being the higher end, of course. These other people must be transplanted polar bears that keep the temp set to freezing.
